- To use a CDROM drive on an Adaptec, you need three things..

- ASPI4DOS.SYS
- Appropriate CDROM driver that talks ASPI. This may be Adaptec's ASW-410
- package, Trantors SCSI package, Corel SCSI, or Adaptec's new EZ-SCSI.
- MSCDEX.EXE loaded from autoexec.bat.

- Then, and only then, can you access the CDROM drive.
