- Multinet Colleagues,
- Some questions for your kind attention (thanks in advance):
-
- (1) Can disks on a SUN IPC be served to an Alpha AXP4000-610 running OpenVMS
- and vice versa using Multinet NFS over DECnet? The SUN would be on the DECnet
- cable also. Currently we have 2 SUN IPCs sharing NFS mounted disks over a
- DECnet Ethernet cable so I expect the answer is "yes".
-
- (2) If so then is there anything to be especially careful of? By the way, LAT
- and LAVC are running on the same cable as well.
-
- (3) Also, are OpenVMS Volume-shadowed disks accessible via Multinet NFS?
-
- (4) Likewise any problem with bound volume sets?
-
- Thanks Again,
- Scott Fullner, JPL
