- Problem: Keyboard entry disabled after STARTNET
-
- Configuration:
- Zenith 80286
- 640K, 256K Zenith EMS
- 3C503-TP
- DOS 5.0
- Pathworks 4.1
-
- Routes already taken:
- This machine has been configured with the 3C503 at the following:
- Memory Base C800, CC00, and DISABLED
- I/O Base 300, 310, 330
- IRQ 3, 5, 10(with a 3C509 NIC)
-
- The result of all of these configurations is the same. Upon executing DLLNDIS
- the keyboard is disabled. If I issue STARTNET.BAT the entire file will execute
- but that's it. If STARTNET.BAT is issued from AUTOEXEC.BAT it will execute
- STARTNET.BAT but will not return to the calling file.
-
- I have eliminated everything foreign from the CONFIG.SYS and used a plain
- "vanilla" configuration of PROTMAN.SYS, ELNKII.DOS, LASTDRIVE & SHELL. The
- same results are given as before.
-
- Does anyone out there have any experience with this type of problem? If
- so, how did you eliminate the problem?
-
- Any and all suggestions welcome.
-
- Thanks in advance.
