  12. Problem:  Keyboard entry disabled after STARTNET
  13.  
  14. Configuration:
  15.         Zenith 80286
  16.         640K, 256K Zenith EMS
  17.         3C503-TP
  18.         DOS 5.0
  19.         Pathworks 4.1
  20.  
  21. Routes already taken:
  22.         This machine has been configured with the 3C503 at the following:
  23.         Memory Base  C800, CC00, and DISABLED
  24.         I/O Base     300, 310, 330
  25.         IRQ          3, 5, 10(with a 3C509 NIC)
  26.  
  27. The result of all of these configurations is the same. Upon executing DLLNDIS
  28. the keyboard is disabled. If I issue STARTNET.BAT the entire file will execute
  29. but that's it. If STARTNET.BAT is issued from AUTOEXEC.BAT it will execute
  30. STARTNET.BAT but will not return to the calling file.

  32. I have eliminated everything foreign from the CONFIG.SYS and used a plain
  33. "vanilla" configuration of PROTMAN.SYS, ELNKII.DOS, LASTDRIVE & SHELL. The
  34. same results are given as before.

  36. Does anyone out there have any experience with this type of problem? If
  37. so, how did you eliminate the problem?
