  36.      Thanks for the response but I was already aware of the capability to set
  37.      the Username/Password via NCP for a particular node.
  38.  
  39.      This method is not an acceptable as (1) the password is stored on
  40.      the PC (security issue), (2) it requires more management when the
  41.      password changes, and (3) does'nt allow the NFT default directory to be
  42.      changed from the VAX side.

  44.      What I am looking for is the way to configure a true PROXY account so
  45.      that the USERNAME is sent to the remote VAX host and it verifies access
  46.      via the VAX/VMS Proxy File/Utility.
