- As a matter of fact I taped and watched the full coverage. And if
- you didn't see Mr. Clinton and Mr. Gore sitting in their chairs,
- eyes closed and head pointed toward their lap then you sir must have
- missed a large portion of this event. As has been said time and again in
- the Rodney King episode 'Video Tape Does Not Lie'. Your statement that
- Clinton and Gore stayed awake during this event is false. If you
- had said that maybe he's tired because of all this transition work,
- well I would have found that at least difficult to argue with, but
- to deny what clearly happened, come on you can do better.
- I never said Clinton or Gore didn't have a solid grasp of the issues,
- I mearly meant to say that with all the 'experts' with all of these ideas
- I find it hard to believe that the President Elect couldn't find any
- changes to his original plan. (As he stated at the end of the confrence
- when he said, I see no need to change my original econimic plan)
- What was gained by this conference if he can't find even the smallest
- room for improvement? My original assesment still stands, he wants to try
- and take some credit for the improving economy.
- Merry Christmas.
