- Good advice. Also, call the NRA at (202)828-6339, and they will mail you
- summaries of state firearms laws for the states you are passing through.

- Be aware that some jurisdictions violate the law, and will confiscate any
- firearms they find, and make it an extreme hassle (or impossible) for you to get
- them back. They may even attempt to charge you with a felony crime, and "allow"
- you to plea bargain to a misdemeanor.
