  25. They got home yesterday or today (I'm writing on Wednesday, 30 Dec),
  26. and were immediately arrested.  They were charged with child neglect,
  27. child endangerment, and a third count that I can't remember.

  29. The children were first placed with a grandmother, but now have been
  30. moved into a foster home.  The early news stories said that the
  31. grandmother declared that she found she couldn't take care of them,
  32. but now make it sound more as though DCFS just decided to take them
  33. away.

  35. As far as I've heard, the parents have not made any statement.

  39. answered with some news even though JD's question seemed to be
  40. directed elsewhere.  But I can't address whatever point he was making
  41. with this example, since I just flash unread through articles on the
  42. POINTLESS, ADSURD, MISGUIDED topics of men's supposed "rights" vis a
  43. vis abortion, and the INFURIATINGLY ILLOGICAL and basically MISOGYNIST
  44. arguments about it based on views about child support.

  46. This is not meant as a personal attack on JD, who for all I know was
  47. trying to provide reasonable answers.  But it is meant as a
  48. generalized attack on the whole thread.
