  21. choose a low-keyed, low-dominance male as her partner. However,
  22. as Paglia notes in her latest book, many women go out of their way to
  23. CHOOSE a high-dominance, high-violence man, because of the greater
  24. excitement in such a relationship. They don't WANT to be abused, but
  25. are willing to undertake such a risk in order to enjoy the 'extra sizzle'
  26. that comes from living on the edge of danger.

  30. neck. But I get such an adrenaline rush from all these thrills that
