- I had assumed that there were Erbakan supporters on the net. I had
- further assumed that some of those people would be able to tell me
- what exactly he was proposing to change. So you're saying that there
- are no Erbakan supporters on the net? Or are you saying Erbakan supporters
- would know just the slogans and slogans would be enough for them? I'd
- find the latter hard to believe. I gather you aren't an Erbakan supporter,
- but surely you'd agree that there would be those among his more educated
- supporters who would need more than just grand sounding slogans.
- At any rate, it doesn't look like explanations are forthcoming.
- Maybe his supporters are away for their Christmas break!
- As for asking him the questions, I would if it were convenient for me to do so.
- Maybe I'm asking the wrong question? Let me rephrase it: is Erbakan
- the current leader for the people who'd like to see Turkey turned into
- an "Islamic state"? If so, what concrete changes does his party's program
- propose? There just has to be some people on the net who can answer this
- as I have the impression that there indeed are people who'd like to see
- Turkey transformed into an "Islamic state." If I'm wrong, and there is no
- such thing, please do let me know.
