-
- Note that, devout believers like Pervez Hoodbhoy and Abdus Salam,
- (who wrote a foreword to Hoodbhoy's book, heartily agreeing with
- the author) are criticizing Bucaille. They are not questioning
- the signs presented in the Quran or the divinity of the Quran,
- but the dubious exercise indulged in by Bucaille.
-
- Although, you do not explicitly say so, you seem to want to lump
- unbelievers like me (and others) and believers like Hoodbhoy,
- Salam (and others on SCP). You seem to be questioning the ability
- of people who do not agree with Bucaille, to "understand, reflect
- and ponder" the meaning of the signs. You seem to be close to
- condemning those who do not agree with your favorite interpretation,
- and hint at eternal damnation for these.
-
- If your belief system compels you to believe that all unbelievers
- are destined for the fire of hell, that is fine with me. I do not
- share your belief system. Unfortunately, you are condemning a
- large group of people who share your belief system, but criticise
- silly and bizarre nature of Bucaille's arguments.
