- Well... the "Defense Housing Society" classes have taken bigtime to
- computing... and there is considerable computerisation (very modern
- too) of business in places like Karachi. For example, one of
- Karachi's arterial roads, the Shara-e-Faisal (Drig Road) had lots of
- ads of Apple Macintoshes and for Acer PCs... the Herald (one of
- Pakistan's best magazines) also has ads for PCs...

- And a cousing of mine works at the offices of The News (a new, and
- very good daily) took me around. They use Apple Macs for their news
- and DTP...
