- If you look a little deeper into this, I think you'll find that domestic
- violence is a problem with every ethnic group. Your friend's abservation
- may be partially attributable to the fact that there are a lot of Asians
- living in the South Bay area. I remember reading a few years ago that
- EVERYONE in L.A. county was a member of a minority group, owing to the
- ethnic diversity in that area. My guess is that the same may very well be
- true farther north as well.

- If that's the case, and if you're going to regard the members of a number of
- groups (Koreans, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.) as belonging to a SINGLE group,
- then that very large group is, of course, going to have a higher amount of
- criminal activity than any smaller group.
