  12. On Hanukkah it is appropriate (in the Sephardic tradition) to tell
  13. stories of Johah. Johah was known to be a little slow and not very
  14. bright. Here are two of the 1000's of Johah stories.

  16. Johah was sent to the market by his mother to get some matches.
  17. His mom admosished him as he left to make sure the matches were
  18. good. A while later Johah returned with the matches.  He
  19. triumphantly handed them to his mother who upon seeing their
  20. blackened heads had a surprised look. I got your matches Johah
  21. remarked and they are all good. He knew because he had tested
  22. every one of them.

  24. Johah went with his mother to a wedding. His mother noticed him
  25. stuffing a large meatball in his mouth and eating it. His mother
  26. came to him and said Johah when dealing with round foods you cut
  27. them into four pieces and eat them individually. Two days later
  28. at home Johah's mother sets a bowl of lentils in front of him and
  29. walked away. She came back to find Johah cutting the individual
  30. lentils into four before eating them...

  32. Hope that gave you a laugh... These stories have been around a
  33. long...long time. Perhaps others would like to tell more of them.
