- 0070 is Telway Japan. The number in Osaka is 06-949-0070. Like the
- other companies (0088, etc.) you dail 0070 before the number and it
- switches to their system. To enable the switching there is something
- that must be done at NTT which costs 2,500 yen (to NTT) so you can't
- just try it.
-
- The Q-box is installed between your handset and the line coming from
- the poll to the fusebox and automatically detects whether you will
- save money by using 0070 and, if so, puts 0070 in front of the
- number before dialing (an LED lights up when it has done so).
- Further, if you are subscribed to 0088 it will route to that company
- as well (you only have to pay the 2,500 yen charge to NTT one time).
-
- Hope that fills you in,
-
- Dave
