  15. As I promised last week, I have finished scanning in those images that I
  16. said I was going to do. They are available by anonymous FTP from
  17. nic.funet.fi:/pub/culture/indian/pics
  18.  
  19. Specifically the ones I have added are (tiff-->jpeg conversion courtesy of

  29. I scanned all of the above images myself. I can assure they are of very
  30. high quality and they are much better than the previous pix that I have
  31. seen at that site.

  33. If any of you out there have more pix to add to this growing archive, then
  34. ftp to "nic.funet.fi" as user 'uploader' go to the directory
  35. /pub/culture/incoming and upload your files via binary transfer. Make sure
  36. you notify the archive owner: Juhana Kouhia (jk87377@cs.tut.fi).

  38. Since there is an anonymous ftp site, I wont be posting any of these pix
  39. to 'alt.binaries.pictures.misc' as I previously had promised. I have received
  40. a lot of mail from people saying that they wouldn't be able to access those
  41. groups.
