  26. If hate, blasphemy (whatever you meant by that word) and terrorism
  27. were to be the litmus tests for the creation and existence of news
  28. groups, then soc.culture.indian should have been shut down a long
  29. along time ago. And so should soc.culture.pakistan and many other
  30. such groups.

  32. Please tell us why you support the existence of soc.culture.indian
  33. and not the creation of soc.culture.bengal?

  38. Since I cannot do any better, I will quote Voltaire and leave this
  39. alone: "I don't agree one bit with what you are saying, but I
  40. will defend unto my death your right to say so." Call me whatever
  41. you want, but I see this as extending the same liberty that we
  42. have to others.

  44. The bottom-line is this: any group has the right to form their
  45. own newsgroup (as long as it meets technical criteria) unless others
  46. decide, through magnanimity or malice, to gag them!
