  18.  Perhaps we are being too hasty in branding Islamic faith as root cause
  19.  of all evils.  Every religion goes through a violent phase.  Its just a
  20.  question of how mature the faith becomes with the passage of time.

  22.  Every religion, save for Hinduism and Judaism that are as old as
  23.  civilization itself, had to contend with winning followers from other
  24.  faiths on the face of a strong opposition by these "majority" faiths.

  26.  While Christianity (2000 yrs old) faced opposition primarily from Judaism, 
  27.  Islam (only 1400 yrs old) had to contend with multitude of "major" faiths.

  29.  Survival breeds and imbibes hardened attitudes (fanatism) among the
  30.  faithfuls, who then carry out the "mission" with a zeal and fervor
  31.  that is both, barbaric and violent.

  33.  Herein lies the answer. Islamic forces have yet to "mellow" to 
  34.  moderation with time. Something this generation or the next may not
  35.  live to see.
