- As a matter of principle, it should be so. However the argument goes
- both ways. Politics should not meddle with religion either. To my
- knowledge RSS and VHP were non-political religious organizations. I am
- not aware of either campaigning for power politics. The have been
- banned for political reasons hence ...

- Yes, Bukhari started a dangerous precedent. But it can not be ignored.
- The game of politics is not played in isolation and if one party (the
- Congress) goes for a religious endorsement then the others will have to
- do the same for survival's sake.
