  17.      GERMANY, Racisizm, Sympathy and Other Things.

  20.      It's obvious that, the degree of racist attacks against the minorities
  21.      in Germany has exceeded the critical threshold.
  22.  
  23.      Every day, there are a dozen of (reported) attacks, sometimes even
  24.      causing the death of the people being attacked.

  26.      Important to notice that, these are the reported events, and very extreme
  27.      ones. Other than what we hear through the media, minorities in Germany
  28.      are facing much larger number of offences in their everyday life.

  31.      In Germany there are a large number of Racist people.

  33.      But, in the same Germany there are also a considerable number
  34.      anti-racist people.
  35.  
  36.      Everyday they organize anti-racist rallies, walk on the streets
  37.      with candles. They show their symphaty for the minorities.

  39.      Some of them are anarchists, who are only interested in violance.
  40.           They are good at spoiling image of the rallies.
  41.           They could be on the Neo-Nazi side as well. They just happen
  42.           to be on the anti-racist side. They are not very many.
  43.      Some of them are radicals, They are good at critisizing the human
  44.           rights records of Spain for treatment of Bask People, or
  45.           Turkey for treatment of Kurdish People, or whatsoever. 
  46.           (New Caledonia?  Bosnia? they don't know where they are.)
  47.           They are good in philosophy and some organized mass activities.
  48.           They don't really take immigrants as "talkable" people, they
  49.           flirt with radicals, anarchists of the countries where the
  50.           minorities came from.
  51.           Some of them are the hangovers from the late 1960s.
  52.      Some of them are everyday people. They are humanists. They don't have
  53.           much contact with minority people. They are good people. They
  54.           don't harm anybody. They participate in the rallies in the 
  55.           weekends and, goto their office during the week. Part-time
  56.           activists.

  59.      None of them are REALISTS.

  61.      They show symphaty for the minorities. But they don't understand
  62.      their problems.

  64.      When they walk on the streets, they don't cry for equal rights
  65.      for the immigrants. They only show their symphaty.

  67.      Do they walk for the victims or for satisfying themselves or
  68.      for good image? Not known, Not sure.

  72.      - There are around 4 million immigrants in Germany,

  74.        who or whose parents arrived in Germany on average 30 years ago,

  76.        who can not vote even on matters effecting their fate?
  77.         (in South Africa or Kuwait, the people who can vote are less numerous).
  78.          representation in the parliement? You're kidding.

  80.        who, when married, can not bring their vives to Germany for at least
  81.         one year. (A Canadian, marrying an Australian? No problem, you can 
  82.         arrive today).

  84.        who, when they are 18 years old, have to line-up in front of the
  85.         police department for getting residence permit for the country,
  86.         Germany, in which they were born. (with black hair perhaps, to
  87.         make things even worse).

  89.        who are rarely accepted to German Citizenship, because they do not
  90.         have German blood. ( An article in German Constitution, allows
  91.         the ethnic Germans anywhere (e.g. in Russia), to be a citizen
  92.         in a moment. Even if they can not speak any German). Poor Turk
  93.         Ali, born in Berlin, grew in Berlin, Lived in Berlin, beaten in
  94.         Berlin, Died in Berlin as a Turkish citizen.(Does any radical know 
  95.         these??).
  96.         (Great man, late Willy Brandt once said, it is not enough to be
  97.          right. Is it really not enough???)

  99.        who, 8 year old, when wants to visit a neighbouring country with
  100.         fellow students in the elementary school, taken out of the bus at
  101.         the border, because he needs visa?

  103.        who, when wants her/his relatives to visit her/him, has to run
  104.         after the Great German Consulate for months, for getting her/his
  105.         relative a visa (only if can...).
  106.         (hey radicals, have you ever heard about the Helsinki Human
  107.          rights aggrement? free movement???). 
  108.        who, when successfull in business and driving a Mercedes, is
  109.         promptly judjed as being involved in illegal business?

  111.      Ask yourself, noone will hear, but you.

  113.      How many of you walk for yourself? How many of you for the minorities?
  114.      or there is nothing else remained, wall is down, no ideology, no more
  115.      utopia?  
  116.      Do you really love them? 
  117.      Do you critisize the human rights records of Spain, Turkey, Greece
  118.      honestly, because they are (as a fact) not great, or is it a released
  119.      expression of not-liking (of those people) otherwise hidden? 
  120.      Do you really see them as equals? Or are they the people to take care of,
  121.      to philosophize over?
  122.      Do you dislike the minorities driving Mercedes cars? Not because
  123.      they are rich because you feel they are not on your side anymore? those
  124.      people you symphatized for so long, betrayed you?
  125.      Do you fancy the idea that, once you grant them the rights, they may
  126.      have different opinions than you? they may perhaps vote for another
  127.      political party?

  129.      Are you really honest? Or are we amusing ourselves here?
