- These are not always reflective of individual cases. Names can be changed
- legally, without necessarily reflecting a change in alleigance. If I
- were to look up my name on one of these charts, I might just end up
- wearing a Campbell or a MacGregor tartan (something that might cause many
- of my ancestors to roll in their graves). My last name was changed by
- my Grandfather for a variety of reasons. I am however, clan Graham. I
- think asking your grand-relatives (uncles, aunts, fathers, mothers) who
- your ancestors are is the best bet. If you're still stuck, black watch
- is always a safe bet.
