- On the weekend I saw a special model Coronation Coach by Matchbox, to
- commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth
- II.
-
- Does anyone know whether this was made to the same dimensions, from the
- same mold effectively, as the very first die-cast toy produced by
- Lesney, in 1953? I have never seen one of the originals, but have the
- impression that they are smaller than this current commemorative
- model.
-
- Even if these commemorative models are reproductions of the original, I
- still feel they are far too expensive, at the $75CDN this particular
- store was asking for them. Half that price, and I would have quickly
- snapped it up; even more money spent without shortening my Season's
- Shopping List.

- Adrian.
