  26. What does any of the above mean?  Does ayone know?  'Does DSY have a student'?
  27. Does he mean does DESY laboratory have students?  The answer is yes, but I wasn't
  28. one of them - I was there working for University of California as my student
  29. days are long over.  R.J.Bartle - the British pensioner with the oddly german-sounding
  30. name is trying, I think, to tell us that he's been living in berlin for 14 years
  31. and is more at home there than in 26 other countries (I have added in Britain).
  32. Could it be that R.J.Bartle is not a Turk, Chinese, Vietnamese, Israeli, Indian,
  33. or black?  Could it be that R.J.Bartle is not a jew, a muslim, a hindu, buddhist
  34. etc?  Could it be that R.J.Bartle's abyssmal English is mirrored by his eloquence
  35. in German and that he is barely distinguishable as an Auslander?
