- What does any of the above mean? Does ayone know? 'Does DSY have a student'?
- Does he mean does DESY laboratory have students? The answer is yes, but I wasn't
- one of them - I was there working for University of California as my student
- days are long over. R.J.Bartle - the British pensioner with the oddly german-sounding
- name is trying, I think, to tell us that he's been living in berlin for 14 years
- and is more at home there than in 26 other countries (I have added in Britain).
- Could it be that R.J.Bartle is not a Turk, Chinese, Vietnamese, Israeli, Indian,
- or black? Could it be that R.J.Bartle is not a jew, a muslim, a hindu, buddhist
- etc? Could it be that R.J.Bartle's abyssmal English is mirrored by his eloquence
- in German and that he is barely distinguishable as an Auslander?
-
- Merry Christmas to most of those on usenet, and peace and good will to most of
- personkind.
