- FYI, the "sci" in the "sci.*" hierarchy stands for "science", not for
- soc.culture.indian!

- There is an existing newsgroup called sci.lang, for example, for discussing
- issues related to linguistics. Similarly there are sci.anthropology, etc, etc.

- IMHO, sci.lang.bengali is not an appropriate name (unless we opt to discuss
- only issues pertaining to Bengali linguistics :-))
