- As other posts have pointed out the standard in Aus is PAL-D on VHS. In my
- experience, all large cities have companies who will convert from PAL to
- NTSC and vice versa on either VHS or Beta but they charge a goodly sum of
- money, say $50- $100 per half hour of tape. Perhaps looking for a
- conversion company before your fiancee arrives would be an idea.
