  17.   Hamas stands for "Harakat al Muqawamat il Islamiyyah", which means, the
  18. Islamic resistance movement. It was founded by Sheikh Ahmad Yassin three
  19. or four years ago. It represents the Muslim Bretheren in Palestine. The
  20. founder is sunni. The organization is an Islamic organization whose aims
  21. include providing an Islamic support organization for Palestinians, resisting
  22. Israeli occupation, the liberation of all of Palestine and the establishment
  23. of an Islamic state.
