  33. Was this post really necessary? Someone needs to clue this person in on the 
  34.  purose of this newsgroup, I seriously doubt Mr. Rose would find many African-
  35.  Americans scouring s.c. india , or any of the others he mentioned. I think
  36. that Mr. Rose's Post was very appropriate to the newsgroup; just because 
  37. a post isn't political doesn't mean it should be excluded. It just happens
  38. that there are very prolific subscribers to this newsgroup who like to 
  39. engage in flame-wars (where I grew up this was called talkin' ____) concerning
  40. politics. I think that there are lots of other CONSTRUCTIVE things that this
  41. newsgroup can be used for in addition to the political harangues. Please don't
  42. stamp out these precious few threads.
