  29. is a preliminary announcement. Official Call for Papers will be

  42.                    PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT
  43.                      AND CALL FOR PAPERS
  44.  
  45.      The International Workshop "Free Software Development and
  46. Using" organized  by  the  Society  of Unix User Groups (SUUG)
  47. jointly with the Russian Center  of  System  Programming  (the
  48. chapter of the Free Software Foundation) and the International
  49. Center of Scientifical and Technical Information will be  hold
  50. in Moscow  from  April 19 till April 23 1993.  It's supposed a
  51. participation of specialists from North  America,  Europe  and
  52. Japan.
  53.      The main proposed topics of the Workshop are:
  54.      The current  state  of the GNU project and other projects
  55. closed to FSF;
  56.      Free software portability in Open System environments;
  57.      Experiences with free software using;
  58.      Using free  software  for  education  and  free  software
  59. training;
  60.      Legal aspects of free software.
  61.      The set  of  topics  may  me  extended   according   with
  62. additional proposals.
  63.      Simultaneously with the Workshop  a  small  exibition  is
  64. planned to  demonstrate  the using of various free software on
  65. different  computers  connected  by  LAN.   Orgers   for   the
  66. demonstation  of original free designs are accepted.  Also the
  67. participation of computer and software companies is supposed.
  68.      There are several alternatives for the precise  place  of
  69. the Workshop, the final decision will be made later.
