- He's right on that point. Wood smoke is highly polluting.

- Judging from the problem, I would guess that your neighbor
- has poor ventilation, is burning unseasoned (green) wood or wood
- with a high sap content, like pine.

- He may be solving your problem. If he keeps it up, he'll
- have a creosote fire in the chimney and burn his house down.
