  15. My sister gave us a very nice wooden bowl for Christmas.  It is round,
  16. and has straight sides that are glued to a round base.  There is a
  17. significant crack up one of the sides (no, she's not thoughtless - she
  18. got it free at work and thought we might like it :-).  We're wondering
  19. what the best glue might be to fix this.  We do plan to put food in it. 
  20. I also didn't know if maybe we should finish it something.  It isn't just
  21. raw wood now, and seems to have been finished with more than just oil.

  23. Any suggestions are much appreciated!  Feel free to post, as I'm using
  24. some semi-vacation time to catch up on all the power tools I want when we
  25. buy a house :-)
