- My sister gave us a very nice wooden bowl for Christmas. It is round,
- and has straight sides that are glued to a round base. There is a
- significant crack up one of the sides (no, she's not thoughtless - she
- got it free at work and thought we might like it :-). We're wondering
- what the best glue might be to fix this. We do plan to put food in it.
- I also didn't know if maybe we should finish it something. It isn't just
- raw wood now, and seems to have been finished with more than just oil.
-
- Any suggestions are much appreciated! Feel free to post, as I'm using
- some semi-vacation time to catch up on all the power tools I want when we
- buy a house :-)
