- I discovered this group a few months ago and have enjoyed it ever since. I'm
- especially impressed with the congeniality of the group and lack of flames.
-
- It appears that my next project is to provide a basketball hoop and backboard
- for #2 daughter. Is 3/4" pressure treated plywood an appropriate choice for the
- backboard? Should the edges be treated in any special way to accommodate the
- weather? I have in mind that the plywood should be allowed to weather for a
- period of weeks/months before painting. Correct? Those with experience please
- share your insights. thanks jb
