- I am looking for a 3/4" chisel to chop through mortises. After looking
- through the normal research guides (catalogs) I am seeing a patern that most
- of the higher priced "mortise" chisels have squared sides and a leather
- washer to act as a shock absorber.
-
- What other things should I watch for? I have a low end 3/4" chisel already
- but I am not too sure of it for chopping a 4" wide by 3" deep hole.
-
- Help?
