- Gary and I are trying to confirm a rumor tonight. On Gary's live
- Friday Night Live call-in show, a caller said that Galaxy 6 was
- not going to replace Galaxy 1, but rather it would be Galaxy 5.
-
- I have not heard this info from any of my sources. Gary hasn't
- either. The caller said his source was secret but his source
- lives (or works?) in Rhode Island.
-
- Has anyone else heard this? For this coming week, I know Gary
- is going to try to confirm this.
-
- Reason for G5 doing the replacing? The caller led me to believe
- that it was not good to have a 10 watt satellite (G6) between
- two 16-17 watt satellites. Gary and I have noticed crosstalk
- between C3, G1, and C4, but I have not noticed any problems
- on Galaxy 1 with adjacent satellites. I only notice the problem
- when I flip through one polarity of G1 and see C3/C4 pics "in-between"
- G1 transponders.
