  14.  I've never felt the need to have chat/IRC  before, but THIS is a topic!

  16.  Last week, I spent several frustrating hours trying to find a way to
  17.  use IRC since our internet site doesn't support it.  A number of the
  18.  "Freenet" sites do, but they require normally several days to get
  19.  authorized to use 'em.  This is assuming of course that y ou
  20.  have internet access and can also telnet to the outside world.

  22.  I have, however, just gotten a connection going direct from the
  23.  Mac on my desk using "Irckle".  It seems to work ok (I just
  24.  was checking out the New Year's eve conversation on the Internet -
  25.  it's as boring as the party I was at .. :-)

  27.  If anyone with a Mac needs a hand on this, drop me a note below.
