- I've never felt the need to have chat/IRC before, but THIS is a topic!

- Last week, I spent several frustrating hours trying to find a way to
- use IRC since our internet site doesn't support it. A number of the
- "Freenet" sites do, but they require normally several days to get
- authorized to use 'em. This is assuming of course that y ou
- have internet access and can also telnet to the outside world.

- I have, however, just gotten a connection going direct from the
- Mac on my desk using "Irckle". It seems to work ok (I just
- was checking out the New Year's eve conversation on the Internet -
- it's as boring as the party I was at .. :-)
