-
- A PK232 is a Multi-mode terminal node converter, mostly used for Amateur
- Radio "packet" transmisisons (check out rec.radio.amateur or something
- like that for a group to snoop about & find nifty things out by & for)
- **BUT** can also copy neat things like RTTY (radio-teletype), WEFAX, AMTOR,
- and TDM, and a couple of other spiffy modes.
-
- The NEAT box I want is the DSP2232 (2 ports, and all modems are SOFTWARE!)
- but it runs about a grand :-(. Would be GREAT for FDM and other Funky
- Data Modes (pun _heavily_ intended).
