- I just thought I'd get you all up to speed on the S1 services since
- S1 is going dark on Jan 7.
-
- SCOLA has not announced a new location that I am aware of (but,
- then I haven't been watching SCOLA between newscasts to see if they
- have a slate with their new location).
-
- UNIVISION feed (seen on xponder 18) appears to be moving over to G6
- in it's regular occasional video basis. I saw the UNIVISION slate
- on G6 many times over the last few days.
-
- Sky High TV is gone this morning. They probably decided to go dark until
- the actual purpose of Sky High TV begins.
-
- The In-store FM2 and regular audio subcarrier services are dual illuminating
- on S1/17 and S3/18. I expect the S1/17 feed to go dark any day now.
-
- Health and Sciences Network (oak) probably have decided to take away
- their only C-band feed. I think they will be exclusively fed on GSTAR1
- now.
-
- Keystone Inspirational Network pulled their S1/13 feed today. They
- are now exclusively on G3/1.
-
- occasional video services (such as the BMAC horse racing or sports
- backhauls) will find homes on other satellites.
-
- On KU band... I think the Gannett feeds will end up on GSTAR2 or SBS5.
- I haven't taken the time to check on those, but I'm sure they are
- on a nearby Ku satellite.
-
- Not related to S1, but....
-
- Playboy has been running a scroll saying they will dual-illuminate
- on F4R/22 and G5/2 from Jan 1 to Jan 11. On Jan 12, they will
- be exclusively on G5/2. I expect the Disability Channel and the Silent
- Network to be on G5/2 also on their regular occasional video basis.
