- I live 60 miles NORTH of Boston. And these sats *ARE* close to the horizon!!!
- 4-7 degrees above it. Your 'superb' reception is due to 2 things.

- 1) You can get these birds at 19 degrees above the horizon (give or take)
- 2) You are not shooting through 100 ft pine trees!
