Well it has been TREMENDOUSLY cold here...  This has made for WONDERFUL
reception.  I am, at this moment listening to PERFECT audio on C1 (Ch 2, for
the people).  I noticed FOX there, but like NBC it is still pretty grungy.
Still this entire part of the arc is totally invisible in the spring summer
and fall.  So for me, I am thankful that winter is 6 months long.

Actually it was the coldest summer on record, this past...  Temps around
freezing EVERY MONTH of the year, not good for my better half who has LUPUS
and can not take the winter.  She is currently on the Arizona California
border (And still cold).  She told me on the phone today she wants MORE tapes
of stuff from the dish.  She is hooked.

I am pretty bummed though.  Earlier in the week the folks at TBN told me that
the replay of YOUNG MESSIAH would be TONIGHT at 11PM Pacific time.  It wasn't
it was two hours EARLIER, so I picked it up AGAIN late.  I had wanted to tape
it for Elaine, as I know she would really ENJOY it.  They also told me it
would be on SATURDA at 10PM Pacific...  SO I am going to try two hours before
THAT and see if it works.  I have my doubts though.

Over the holidays I have been making Elaine videos continuously every hour I
am awake and watching the dish.  She likes the sky scanning...  Of course I
also have my mixer plugged in so I can put in commentary, and even mix in
phone calls.  And there is a camera online also so I can show her the snow
that she is missing...  LOTS OF IT.

Since I only venture outdoors a few hours a week, winter is just FINE with
me.

Of course if I could find somewhere CHEAP to live in AZ, it would be nice to
not have to be away from the only person I have ever known who shares my
obsessions, or at least understands them....  (Although I would probably
spend three times on cooling that I now spend on heating)....

I saw the PUDGE lady on Shop at Home just a few minutes ago...  HSC has gone
back to peddling their wares, they had been running a missing kids show all
week.

Since there was no FNL this week, it was my first FRIDAY for sky scanning in
well over a year.  I found the WEEKEND feed of Inside Edition...  (Yeah I
sort of LIKE that silly TABLOID stuff) and also the one hour KIDS IN THE HALL
on CBC.  The chicken lady had me in stitches.
