- Well as I have mentioned previously, I am receiving some cross-talk between
- G1 and C3/C4. As well I am receiving less than perfect signals on C4, which
- I know has to do with the trees.
-
- I have deducted that one tall spruce tree a few yards down from my dish location
- (in someone else's yard) is causing the problem.
-
- Here is one for you budding mathematicians out there.
-
- The tree is approximately 50 yards down range from my current dish site and
- stands approximately 30 feet high. Now when the dish is at G1, the feed points
- dead into the tree about 8 feet from the top.
-
- Now if I was to move the dish 10 feet either way (the rest of the sky is
- clear), as well as go about 3 feet higher on the pole, would I clear
- the tree?
-
- Any advice (good or bad) would be appreciated.
