  24. Well, my domicile sits right on the 75W longitude line, and the only
  25. western bird I have trouble with is F1.  SInce the only thing I watch on it
  26. is the NBC feed on Tr.8, that is no great loss.  C4 BOOMS in; as a matter
  27. of fact, everything from G5 through C4 excepting F1R have solid signals
  28.  
  29. I'm thankful that the new birds have the power they do, otherwise I'd be in
  30. dire straits myself.  Near as I can figure, F1 is 9 degrees above the
  31. horizon here, which means I catch quite a bit of background noise from the
  32. ground presentation sidelobe.  Try repeaking the dish focal length; worked
  33. for me!
