- Well, my domicile sits right on the 75W longitude line, and the only
- western bird I have trouble with is F1. SInce the only thing I watch on it
- is the NBC feed on Tr.8, that is no great loss. C4 BOOMS in; as a matter
- of fact, everything from G5 through C4 excepting F1R have solid signals
-
- I'm thankful that the new birds have the power they do, otherwise I'd be in
- dire straits myself. Near as I can figure, F1 is 9 degrees above the
- horizon here, which means I catch quite a bit of background noise from the
- ground presentation sidelobe. Try repeaking the dish focal length; worked
- for me!
