- Perhaps someone might have already mentioned this minor point: Such
- activities you are proposing are a felony. Unless I misread the thrust of
- your posting, it sounds as if you want to receive cable programming without
- actually paying the fee for it.
-
- If you want to see PAY TV, then PAY for it.
-
- Or do you also go to the news stand and just stuff the magazines you wish to
- read in your pocket.
-
- This is *NOT* meant as a personal attack. It just reflects a very sad fact
- of life that people want something for nothing. It is this type of mentality
- that for years caused satellite subscriptions to be sky high. Thankfully
- Satellite Piracy is now on the wane, and what do you know, prices are coming
- down, and in some cases DRAMATICALLY.
-
- By the way, this is the SATELLITE newsgroup, not the CABLE one.
-
- If you don't LIKE your cable company... BUY A DISH.
-
- Don't just go and try and rip them off. Cable companies have lately taken a
- big offensive against the pirate boxes, and there have been some rather
- impressive fines.
