  15. Some time ago, someone asked how much would it cost to see "everything".
  16. I would say that the same question is being asked by those who have modified
  17. VCs and are about to go dark.

  19. At the time, many responses came thru the network, but few dollar and cents 
  20. figures.  Last night, I just could not resist anymore, and I grabbed a few
  21. OLD magazines (Sept/Oct 92), looked for prices, and found out the answer:

  26. My answer was $1181/year.  This may vary for others depending on the way 
  27. you calculate your answer (providers/packages,etc)  I made a few assumptions:

  29. 1) TVN1-10 were not included, since I could not come up with a $$ for them.
  30. 2) Spice/Playboy junk were not included.
  31. 3) PPV channels (which are 2 or 3) were not included (same reason as #1).
  32. 4) Packages were selected so that prices would be as low as possible.
  33. 5) The assumption was made, that if you paid for 1 channel (eg.,Disney)
  34.    you would get to watch all feeds.
  35. 6) All prices were for yearly rates.
