  16. Yes.  The Memorex CP-8 will do just what you want.  It learns up to 8
  17. different devices and can be programmed to remember sequence of commands.
  18. The current model is the CP-8 Turbo which sells for about $80 I think.
  19. It lists for over $100.
  20. Available from Crutchfield and J&R Music World.  Also Damark has been
  21. closing out an earlier model called the CP-8 for $29.95.  I have several
  22. of these and they are excellent. They have 5 built in timers which can
  23. be used to launch any one of your stored command sequences.

  25. I also have a Radio Shack Model that was discontinued with their latest
  26. catalog.  If you can find one (model 15-1903) snap it up.  I would love
  27. to find another.

  29. I would suggest if anyone wants one of these to buy now because they
  30. seem to be going out of style.  Too complicated for the average Mr
  31. I. Pushbutton.  Witness the success of the VCR+
  32.  
  33. One last suggestion. Buy an HP95LX palmtop PC. The 512k version goes
  34. for around $380.  It has a built in IR port for talking to other 95s
  35. or HP accessories.  At least 3 different sources have made learning
  36. IR remote programs for it.  A bit expensive, but it has Lotus 123
  37. and lots more, tried doing your taxes on your TV remote lately?.
