  13.  Has anybody said is KGAY a "real" radio station - do they broadcast
  14.  over the air in Denver?  I'd be curious to know if they actually have
  15.  a broadcast license with that call.

  17.  The reason I ask is that many many moon ago when I was a freshman in
  18.  college, I participated in a radio station which operated on carrier
  19.  current with feeds to each dorm via phone lines - we were WTUL,
  20.  550 on your AM radio dial!  Interestingly enough, we had so few
  21.  listeners that for 6 weeks we once broadcast a dial tone when the
  22.  phone company made a change - and no one ever mentioned it to us!

  24.  In any case, we were originally WAVE (the school logo...) but were
  25.  informed even though we wern't really licensed, we couldn't use
  26.  WAVE because there actually WAS a WAVE (I forget where).  I was
  27.  wondering about a similar thing with KGAY...
