- These were shown on The Disney Channel last year. As far as I know they
- have not been released on video. There was also a retrospective program
- aired at the same time with a title something like Astaire: A man and
- his music. I have the special and one of the tv episodes on tape.

- I have this on Laserdisc. It is letterboxed and a pretty good transfer
- (I'd give it a B) In my opinion, the letterboxing is essential, as this
- is one of those movies made in the 50s that used every inch of the
- screen. There is even a number titled "Technicolor, Cinemascope, and
- Stereophonic Sound" in which they overdo each of the effects for
- parody. (It is listed for $44.95)
-
- I don't have Daddy Long Legs (We are boycotting CBS/FOX because of their
- rape and pillage pricing policies) but I am certain I have seen it in
- the laserdisc stacks. It is listed in the Starship Laserdisc Catalog:
-
- $69.95 Daddy Long Legs. Stereo, Surround encoded, Digital Audio,
- Letterboxed. CBS/FOX.
-
-
- They have also jusst announced "The American Film Institute Awards: Fred
- Astaire" on laserdisc. This one looks interesting, although we never saw
- the original.
