- I like the Laser Disc Companion, as long as you take Pratt's reviews of the
- films themselves with a large grain of salt. The reason I buy the book --
- his reviews of the print quality, transfer quality, and the disc itself --
- are very good.

- I'll be damned -- Jeff Rovin must write about everything. He's got four
- books out I know of -- two film genre compilations, and two "encyclopedias"
- of "super-heroes" and "super-villains." From what I've seen, his writing is
- so-so, but he does seem to believe that God is in the details -- he's pretty
- thorough.
