  22. I like the Laser Disc Companion, as long as you take Pratt's reviews of the
  23. films themselves with a large grain of salt.  The reason I buy the book --
  24. his reviews of the print quality, transfer quality, and the disc itself --
  25. are very good.

  31. I'll be damned -- Jeff Rovin must write about everything.  He's got four
  32. books out I know of -- two film genre compilations, and two "encyclopedias"
  33. of "super-heroes" and "super-villains."  From what I've seen, his writing is
  34. so-so, but he does seem to believe that God is in the details -- he's pretty
  35. thorough.
