- Aaack. A quick RTFM shows that you are right and I am wrong.

- The CCDV-5000 supports index marks, nothing more. The manual warns that the
- linear counter may not agree with the actual tape position and should be used
- as a "guide," which leads me to believe the linear counter is just counting
- frames and can get confused. Drat. Double-drat. I thought it had RC when
- I bought it.

- By the way, from whence did you obtain the information about the 5000's TBC--
- that it is 16 lines deep? I ask because I would like to get more technical
- information on the machine.
