  11. My local cable company added some channels to the basic and expanded services,
  12. but of course they didn't just add the channels into the unused slots, they
  13. moved existing channels around as well. Why do they do this? One would think
  14. that it would be a lot easier to keep current channel allocations as they
  15. are and just add the new ones in on empty slots. But then, I know nothing
  16. about this industry other than how to change the channels.
