  16. yes.  also, you can usually enroll by calling the toll-free number for
  17. the frequent flyer program of the carrier you will fly with.  finally,
  18. your travel agent can enroll you.

  23. generally, no.  they like you to have the ticket receipt (the last
  24. page of the computer-generated ticket with the most gibberish on it),
  25. as well as your boarding passes.

  27. of course, it never hurts to ask (do this by phone at the ffb's 800
  28. number; the gate agents and travel agents can't do much about this).
