Smoky Mountain Wrestling Report - November 8, 1992

Bob Caudle and "Dirty" Dutch Mantell announcing from
Sand Lick Elementary School, Haysi, Kentucky

* Dutch Mantell has positioned himself at the back of the arena awaiting
  the arrival of the Master.  He reports that there is a van parked out
  back and the Master is allegedly inside the van.

* Mike Sampson vs. Dirty White Boy (w/ Ron Wright)

  DWB takes it right to Sampson for punishing squash win.  (Time: 2:26)
  Dirty White Boy calls for Tim Horner to come out and continues to
  punish Sampson until Horner shows.  As the referee tries to get DWB to
  quit, Horner pulls the prone Sampson out of the ring and takes his
  place.  DWB reaches down, eyes on the locker room entrance, grabs the
  hair and pulls what he expects to be the defeated Mike Sampson to his
  feet.  DWB yelps with surprise to find himself facing Tim Horner.
  Horner punches DWB out of the ring and proceeds to chase him around
  the ring.  DWB grabs his belt and pushes Ron Wright in the wheelchair
  into Horner's path to escape.  Horner whirls Wright around a few times
  as Wright clutches his chest in pain.  Wright is left dizzy and
  disoriented, bumping into the ring and light poles trying to get out
  of arena.

* Interview with Tim Horner.  Horner is looking forward to his
  Lumberjack Match at "Thanksgiving Thunder" against the Dirty White
  Boy.  DWB can't run like he has been all this time.  In fact, Horner
  might throw DWB out just to get him thrown back in.

* Dutch administers to Ron Wright, still unsure of where he is or if
  he's having an attack, as we go to commercial.

* Taped comments from Danny Davis.  Davis is in a neck brace from the
  piledriver delivered to him by Paul Orndorff.  Davis says he can't be
  intimidated by Orndorff.  Not being a quitter, Davis promises to be at
  ringside for all Orndorff/Ronnie Garvin matches even if he has to buy
  his own ticket.  Orndorff better watch out.  Only Danny and his
  doctor know just when he'll be ready to return.

* Interview with Paul Orndorff.  They sent a boy to do a man's job.
  Orndorff put Davis in his place: on a stretcher.  Paul just wants his
  $15,000 robe back.  He could take on both Danny Davis and Ronnie Garvin
  at the same time.  That would be like nothing to him.


* Paul Lee & Robbie Eagle
           vs.
  Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Tom Prichard) with Jim Cornette

  Bodies attack before the bell.  Cornette told them to not take too
  much time with the match.  Bodies stack up the jobbers for the win.
  (Time: 0:57)

* Interview with Heavenly Bodies and Jim Cornette.  Cornette announces
  the Rock and Roll Express went to Commissioner Bob Armstrong for
  special matches to put Heavenly Bodies out of wrestling.  Cornette
  agreed to the "Four Faces of Fear" series to take place over the
  four days of the upcoming "Thanksgiving Thunder" Tour on November 26
  through 28.  The four matches are Texas Death Match, Falls Count
  Anywhere, Smoky Mountain Street Fight and Barbed-wire Cage match.
  Cornette is confident that these matches will put Morton and Gibson out.

* "Down and Dirty with Dutch Mantell"  Guest: Tracy Smothers.  Tracy is
  ready to give his all and climb the SMW ladder.  He is ready for any
  test.  He'd even let Dutch test him right now.  Dutch declines, but
  warns Tracy he would have bitten off more than he could handle if he
  did want to test Smothers.

* Interview with Rock and Roll Express.  "Four Faces of Fear" are the
  most dangerous matches in wrestling.  No DQ, so they can do anything to
  Jim Cornette they want to and not lose.  (Morton has his forehead
  bandaged and Gibson has the left hand taped up)

* NOVEMBER DREAM MATCH: Bobby Fulton vs. Jackie Fulton.

  Purely scientific match gaining tempo as it goes on.  Stud Stable
  (Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden) join announcers.  They are not
  impressed at all with what is going on in the match and cast
  aspersions on the Fantastics knowledge of professional wrestling.
  Jackie goes for a crucifix at the 3:43 mark and accidently kicks the
  ref putting him down.  Continuing to wrestle, the Fulton's collide with
  one another off the ropes and both go down.  Stud Stable have wandered
  down to ringside and Golden taunts Bobby from the ring apron.  Bobby
  attacks but Fuller smashes him with some object d'International in his
  hand.  Jackie recovers and goes to pin his prone brother.  Crowd yell
  out what has happened and he refuses to take the cheap win.  Jackie
  launches himself at Stud Stable with a cross body block over the top
  rope onto the floor.  Small brawl with Stud Stable departing.  Match
  is called for interference.  (Time: 4:47)

* Interview with Bob Armstrong and the Fantastics.  Stud Stable vs.
  the Fantastics was to be a DREAM MATCH later in the month, but
  Armstrong moves it up to next week because of what just happened.
  Fantastics vow to kick tail next week.

* Video review of plot against Brian Lee by Mystery Stalkers led by
  the unknown Master starting with Dirty White Boy's win of SMW
  Heavyweight title from Lee after a stalker attacks Lee in the ring 3
  months ago.

* Brian Lee vs. the Master

  The Master enters hunched over and draped in a black cloak.  Gregorian
  chants are his entrance music.  The Master makes sure his face is
  hidden from crowd and cameras as he enters the ring.  Brian Lee is
  chomping at the bit to get started and find out the Master's identity.
  Finally, Lee charges into the Master's corner.  Master throws up a
  fireball into Lee's face and throws off his cloak.  It's Kevin
  Sullivan!!  Caudle calls Sullivan criminally insane as Sullivan pulls a
  long spike from his trunks and starts to work on Brian Lee's forehead
  with it.  Nightstalker and Malachi join Sullivan in the ring.  Three
  jobbers try to make the save, but are stomped down for their trouble.
  Brian Lee is hung upside down in a corner and Sullivan runs across the
  ring to deliver a driving knee to Lee's ribs a few times.  More jabs
  to the forehead with the spike.  A camera man gets up on the apron to
  try and free Lee from the ropes.  Sullivan spikes him to the floor.
  Bob Caudle, to the consternation of Dutch Mantell, heads down to
  ringside as Sullivan pushes the spike into Lee's forehead.  The Fultons
  arrive but are overcome.  Sullivan goes outside the ring and drapes
  Lee's head over the edge of the ring to continue his spiking attack.
  Brian Lee is "bleeding like a stuck pig" according to Mantell.  Lee's
  face and chest are covered with blood from Sullivan hitting him with
  the spike over 40 times.  Tim Horner, Robert Gibson, Ricky Morton
  and Dixie Dy-no-mite finally arrive.  Sullivan and troops retreat from
  ring area.

  Brian Lee is left spasming as Bob Armstrong administers some CPR.
  Emergency crews arrive and begin to take Lee from the ring.  Armstrong
  admits that he made a mistake in allowing the Master to wrestle.
  Sullivan is banned from SMW and will never be back.  Dutch agrees with
  Armstrong's decision.  Caudle has never seen anything like this in all
  his years.  Brian Lee is carried from the ring on a stretcher.
