  13. The latest trade rumour is

  15. Rob Pearson and Felix Potvin to Edmonton for Joe Murphy and
  16. Esa Tikkanen.

  18. Note:  If the expansion draft for Anaheim and Miami does go ahead
  19. this summer with a protection list of 1 goaltender, 5 defensemen,
  20. and 9 forwards as suggested, then it is almost a certainty that
  21. either Fuhr or Potvin has to be traded before then.  Toronto 
  22. doesn't have many forwards that need protecting in an expansion
  23. draft...they are mostly old or lousy...and thus a trade of Potvin
  24. which seemed an impossibility a short time ago, is not inconceivable.
